About Me
Hi, I’m Savannah Renee. I’m a writer, speaker, mental health advocate, and the host of the Let’s Talk About It: Word Vomit podcast and YouTube channel. My life has been anything but ordinary, shaped by hardships, resilience, and an unwavering determination to break cycles of trauma and abuse.
I speak openly about childhood trauma, mental health, and the long-term impact of abuse because I know what it’s like to survive it. My experiences have fueled my passion for advocacy, education, and real, unfiltered conversations. I don’t sugarcoat reality—I believe in telling the truth, no matter how uncomfortable it might be, because silence helps no one.
What I Do
Podcast & YouTube: I create raw, thought-provoking content that dives deep into controversial and difficult topics, from childhood trauma to systemic failures in mental health care.
Writing & Storytelling: I’m currently writing my memoir and a second book, sharing my journey in a way that doesn’t shy away from the pain but also highlights resilience.
Speaking & Advocacy: I work as a shelter advocate and aim to bring awareness to issues surrounding abuse, trauma, and social justice. I’m also passionate about speaking at schools, colleges, and events to educate and empower others.
Community Support: I run a mental health support group and am working on creating a community where people, especially young adults, can talk openly about their struggles without judgment.
Why I Do This
Because I know what it’s like to feel unheard, unseen, and misunderstood. Because I refuse to let my past define me, and I want to help others do the same. Because real change starts with real conversations.
If you’re here, you’re probably looking for honesty, insight, or maybe just someone who gets it. Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.
